Camp Rodney is a week long sleepaway camp in Northern Maryland, where Scouts have the opportunity to do work on several Merit Badges, or, for newer scouts, to participate in the Brownsea Program and learn Scouting Basics.

Info about what to pack:

Program:

Sunday: All Scouts will go to the Old St Mary’s Hall to assign drivers and load the gear. The scouts will stop at an assigned Burger King in North East, Maryland. Upon arriving at the camp, the Scouts will unpack, and go through medical inspection. All scouts that have not already taken the swim test will do that, as there will be points in the trip where the scouts might have to swim.

Monday to Friday: All scouts will do their activities, either Brownsea or Merit Badges, and get a lot of work done. At the end of the day, they can do activities, such as Rifle Shooting or swimming.

Saturday: The scouts will do police line to check for trash, and unpack, before the camp staff inspect the site. The gear will be loaded into the vehicles, and everyone heads home.
